Ghost tours take place every night around the old alleys and snickleways.<br />The capital of the Wolds is Beverley which featured in the top ten most beautiful market town television and is set in the Westwood Stray also featuring a racecourse and a beautiful Gothic minister in the heart of the town.<br />The village has two pubs, banks, a post office and newsagent, a children&rsquo;s play park, a delicatessen, and a bus service to York every 10 - 15 minutes.<br />The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway runs through spectacular countryside through Newton Dale from Pickering to Whitby.
