This picturesque holiday village occupies a delightful rural location deep in the Tamar Valley surrounded by acres of woodland and quiet streams, Honicombe Manor offers a superb setting where you can experience the space and freedom of the Cornish countryside.<br />There is so much to see and do in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty including exhilarating walks across Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. Centrally located, this is an ideal base to explore both North and South coasts, Devon and Cornwall. There are a variety of National Trust properties all close by including Cotehele House, Lanhydrock, Launceston Castle and the Victorian mining village of Morwellham Quay, which is well worth a visit. There are many activities to choose from for all the family. Canoeing on the Tamar River, golf at St. Mellion; fishing, sailing and windsurfing at Sibleyback Lake, Dobwalls Adventure Park and the Donkey Park which is just a short walk away. The picturesque fishing villages of Looe and Polperro are just a short drive, and the famous Eden Project approximately 30 miles. <br />Alternatively relax within the grounds of Honicombe or go for a swim in the outdoor heated pool. There is also the large indoor pool with learners and toddlers pool. There are two all weather tennis courts (equipment is available to hire), or for a more invigorating work out, try the new fitness centre. There is a relaxing sauna and sun bed (coin operated). Perhaps unwind with a drink in the bar or enjoy a meal in the conservatory restaurant, or try a tasty snack from the varied menu. A take away service is also available.
