Located on the outskirts of the town of Buckfastleigh on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, Hill House is a substantial holiday home standing within its own 1.5 acres of mature garden. Quietly situated adjacent to the owner’s annexe, this is a spacious detached property built in the 1930s and is a super holiday home for a large family. The large enclosed garden is mostly laid to lawn and flat, with plenty of attractions for the children including swings, slide, Wendy House, and football play area complete with mini goal posts. Buckfastleigh is located approx 7 miles from the historic town of Totnes, and about 13 miles from Paignton and some of the many beaches on the south Devon coastline. Buckfastleigh also offers a public open-air swimming pool. For those who love the outdoor life, there are many walks in the area, from exploring the windswept moorland and climbing granite tors to following the River Dart as it meanders through wooded valleys or out on the coast. Local attractions include Pennywell Farm Activity Centre, Buckfast Abbey, South Devon Railway, Butterfly Farm and Otter Sanctuary, Holne Country Park and the Valiant Soldier (the pub that time forgot).
