This cosy, bright and airy, detached holiday property nestles in a quiet corner at the heart of the seaside resort of Aldeburgh. Furnished to a high standard with a spacious living room and convivial kitchen/dining-room with doors on to the courtyard, it is also handily placed for the high street (20 yards) and beach (40 yards). The seaside town of Aldeburgh is perfect for a traditional family holiday with appeal to all age groups. Picturesquely set on the East Suffolk Heritage coastline, it is best known for its connections with the composer Benjamin Britten and its annual arts and music summer festival; there is also a thriving sailing community, a golf course, tennis courts and a charming high street which enjoys a wide mix of local and brand name shops, high quality restaurants and an independent cinema. Once in Aldeburgh, visitors may not want to leave, but if wishing to venture further afield, the delights of the Heritage coast are all within easy reach. There is Snape Maltings with its concert hall, variety of shops, galleries and antique collectors centre - it is also the departure point for boat trips exploring the upper reaches of the River Alde. Travel on a few miles to the unspoilt village of Orford, famous for its oystery, church and 12th-century castle. Travelling 1 mile in the other direction along the coast leads to the village of Thorpeness with its large boating lake, superb golf course and delightful beach. Also within easy reach are the seaside gems of Walberswick and Southwold, the RSPB reserve at Minsmere, NT sites at Dunwich Heath and Sutton Hoo and much more.
