Nearby is the renowned, award-winning St Peter’s independent brewery and restaurant. A little further along the Waveney is the attractive market town and boating centre of Beccles where day boats can be hired to explore the Broads. <br />The bustling city of Norwich with its fascinating castle museum and Theatre Royal is within 40 minutes’ drive. Also within half an hour’s drive is the Suffolk Heritage Coastline with the famous seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, the RSPB bird reserve at Minsmere and the smaller but equally charming villages of Dunwich and Walberswick.
