This spacious, Georgian house lies in the heart of Braunton. Link-detached and furnished to a high standard, the holiday property has well laid-out accommodation suitable for family parties or groups. Both the house and area make an ideal year-round destination and being in the heart of Braunton, the largest village in England, means that the shops, restaurants and pubs are all within easy walking distance. Braunton is the gateway to some of North Devon’s finest beaches, including Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe. Here holidaymakers can just relax and top up a tan or learn to surf at one of the many surfing schools in the area. <br />Close by are the Braunton Burrows sand dunes, which are designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. There is plenty to do in the area for all ages, including a visit to Clovelly, the lighthouse and quay at Hartland, the Big Sheep and Milky Way amusement parks, RHS Rosemoor at Torrington, cycling on the Tarka Trail or crabbing at Appledore Quay. The regional town of Barnstaple has plenty of good shops and restaurants and the pannier market and Butcher’s Row are well worth a visit. For those wanting to travel a little further afield, Dartmoor and Exmoor are both within easy reach, as well as the areas around the northern part of Cornwall.
