Built in 1650 and formerly part of the Cholmley Estate, this character cottage with mullion windows oozes a wealth of charm, and the beamed ceilings in the attic bedroom still bear the original carpenter's marks. Situated in the heart of Whitby's old town, visitors can step out of the front door and explore the cobbled streets, the colourful harbour and, of course, 3 miles of wonderful sandy beach. Places of interest to visit include, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay.....
