This very spacious detached holiday property stands in its own grounds of just under an acre on the edge of the village of Sway. A short stroll from the house leads to the heart of New Forest National Park land. The house offers versatile holiday accommodation and is finished to a very high standard. The kitchen leads out into the conservatory which is just one of the three living areas to spread out in, the others being the large formal living room with wood-burning stove and French door to the patio and garden, and the snug. The enclosed gardens both at the front and back of the property are great for all the family to enjoy, mostly being lawned, with a lovely summer house. <br />The surrounding area is a haven for cycling, walking and horse riding. There are many days out for families to enjoy including Marwell Zoological Park, New Forest Otter and Owl Wildlife Park, Bucklers Hard or a day out at Beaulieu Motor Museum to name but a few places of interest nearby. Further afield but well worth the trip are Monkey World and Tank Museum, near Wool. <br />The county of Hampshire itself was enjoyed by Jane Austen with her house and museum in Chawton and her resting place in Winchester Cathedral. Southampton, with its maritime history and West Quay shopping centre, makes for a good day out whilst beach lovers will enjoy the Blue Flag beaches of Bournemouth and Sandbanks at Poole. Sway is serviced by a mainline direct train from London Waterloo (which takes approximately 1 hour 50 minutes).
