Children will love the sandy beaches and the area is a must for walkers, watersports, sailing enthusiasts and fisherman. Crackington Haven is just 5 miles and is a wonderful spot to explore the many rockpools at low tide, whilst nearby Widemouth Bay and Bude have large sandy beaches which are a must for surfers. Bude (8 miles) has town amenities, restaurants, and pretty gift shops and galleries. Ten-pin bowling, mountain boarding, indoor splash pool and a superb 18-hole golf course are all on offer here, and the internationally acclaimed annual jazz festival is not to be missed. The Eden Project is within easy reach, as are many other family attractions including Crealy Adventure Park, Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium.
