This spacious holiday village is extremely well maintained, and the properties are very well equipped and presented. The village is protected by security gates and the site is equipped with a tennis court and children’s play area. Bicycles and tennis racquets are available for hire. Activities in the area include fishing, golf, public swimming pool, walking and horse riding. There is an interesting historical site at Fore, Kells, a heritage town, and Lough Crew, an ancient burial site. A little further afield, but still within comfortable driving range are historical sites such as New Grange, Knowth and Dowth, and Dublin is just 50 miles. Belvedere house and Gardens, and Trim Castle where “Brave Heart” was partially filmed are also well worth a visit. The owners take care and are attentive to the needs of guests.
