Garrison Waterside Hoilday Centre is situated in the most peaceful and tranquil place in Ireland. It is set in the grounds of the 14th-century Black Castle, on the banks of the beautiful River Barrow, beside one of Europe’s oldest bridges ‘The Valerian Bridge’ and right in the heart of historic Leighlinbridge. This is a family-owned and operated holiday centre - perfect for families, fishing enthusiasts, golfers, garden lovers and anyone looking for a touring base for the sunny south east. The holiday homes are fitted out to a very good standard and are secure behind a perimeter wall. Visitors have use of the children’s playground, picnic area, barbecue patio and use of a day boat to explore the River Barrow and navigational canal. There is also a cosy bar and restaurant on site, and the properties are conveniently situated between Kilkenny and Carlow with their cinemas, swimming pools and excellent shopping, pubs and restaurants.
