The stunning scenery, combined with the peace and tranquility is just what is needed to leave all the stresses and strains of everyday living behind.
Lochside, Larchwood and Burnside Lodges are all modern, comfortable and reflect contemporary design rooted in the Highland culture. Extensive use of glass in their design gives holidaymakers constantly changing views of the beautiful lochside environment. All three properties have their own fenced and decking area, which makes the ideal place to dine in the evening after a long day touring this stunning corner of Scotland.
The heart of Dornie village is a short walk along the loch shore and has a shop, two pubs and restaurant. A further short walk leads to the world-famous Eilean Donan Castle. Dornie is ideally situated for visiting the rest of north-west Scotland and Skye.
Aside from the stunning scenery, the surrounding area offers many other attractions and activities including walking, climbing, bird-watching and fishing. Easy lochside and riverside walks can be found direct from the doorstep and a weath of more challenging hill-walking can be found within a few miles, with the Five Sisters of Kintail, Glenshiel to the south, the Torridon Range to the north and the Cuillins of Skye to the west. There are interesting boat trips from the Kyle of Lochalsh and Plockton, each only a few minutes’ drive away. Eilean Donan Castle is a must, as are the Iron Age brochs at Glenelg, from where a short ferry trip across to Skye can still be experienced. There is horse riding locally, and Lochalsh Woodland Garden at Balmacara makes for a good visit._

Elec and full underfloor heating incl

Wood-burning stove - fuel incl

Ample parking

Shop <frac>1/2</frac> mile

TV

DVD (small library)

Radio/CD

Auto wm/tumble dryer

M/wave

D/washer

Fridge/freezer

T/cot

Large fenced area with decking and furniture

Barbecue

Large secure storage shed

Duvets with linen and towels

Wheelchair access

Non-smokers only

_Dornie Lodges are three brand-new houses located in the village of Dornie and picturesquely situated right on the shore of Loch Long near its confluence with Loch Duich and Loch Alsh, some 10 miles from Kyle of Lochalsh, the main crossing point to the Isle of Skye.
