This charming, 19th-century, detached Scottish farmhouse is situated on a private estate with a traditional working sheep and Galloway cattle farm, and boasts stunning views over open countryside. The house itself has been completely refurbished to the highest standard as a traditional Scottish lodge offering great atmosphere and comfort. The holiday property is located in a remote setting on the edge of the moors with delightful walks up into forests or over to the main estate with the renowned Glenkiln Sculpture Walk. A hugely popular area with walkers and cyclists of all abilities, the Dalbeattie 7 Stanes cycling trail is close by.
